Kettls' genmaimatcha hails from the famed town of Uji and is a blend of first flush sencha, high grade matcha powder, and toasted puffed brown rice. A deep green cup with a silky mouthfeel, and a lovely baked grain finish.
Kettl works closely with a network of small farms through their connections to Japan’s regional tea markets. Each prefecture maintains its own auction system, where teas from local producers are bid on. Our trusted partners participate in these markets on our behalf, giving them access to teas from multiple farmers.

Ingredients: Japanese sencha green tea, brown rice, matcha.
Hot Brew: water brewed to 80°c, 5g of tea, brew for 1 minute.
Iced Brew: 150ml (cold) water, 6g of tea, brew for 5 minutes, pour over ice.
