An essential utensil for traditional Japanese tea ceremony, this tea whisk is carved from a single piece of bamboo, and then sliced into 80 pieces. It is used to whisk matcha (powdered green tea) and hot water to create traditional Japanese green tea.

Care: soak in warm water for 30 seconds prior to use to soften the prongs. Rinse in a bowl of warm water after each use to clean. Do not soak or submerge for extended periods of time.
Store on a ceramic holder to keep the shape of the whisk and prolong its life.
